Turkiye Burslari 2024 or Turkey Government Scholarships 2024-2025 are fully-funded scholarships given by the government of Turkey to eligible international students all over the world. These Turkish Government Scholarships 2024 are given at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and are divided into merit-based and research-based scholarships.

Required Documents for Turkey Government Scholarships:
The applications for the 2024-2025 academic year will open on 10 January 2024. Students will be required to submit a number of following documents as part of their application. Failure to submit any of the required documents will result in the candidate being disqualified during the evaluation process.

Explanation of all the documents listed in above table is as follows:
- Proof of Identification: Applicants must provide either their National Identity Card (NIC) or a valid passport.
- Recent Photograph: A clear, identifiable photograph taken within the past year.
- Local Education Examination Scores: Applicants who have completed their education locally and do not hold international certifications or degrees (such as SAT, GCSE) must submit their National Examination scores.
- Graduation Certification: A temporary graduation certificate or diploma.
- Official Educational Transcripts: Scanned copies of official transcripts from previous educational institutions. Note: Screenshots or uncertified copies may lead to application dismissal.
- Aptitude and International Exam Scores: Scores from exams like GRE and GMAT, if required by the chosen university or program.
- Language Proficiency Test Scores: Accepted test scores (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, DELF) as per the university or program’s requirement. Applicants for programs taught in Turkish may need to provide proof of Turkish language proficiency.
- Doctoral Candidates: An original research proposal and copies of previously conducted and published research.
Applicants can submit the application for Turkiye Burslari Scholarships 2024-2025 online and free of charge. The application process is fairly straightforward and simple. IELTS is not needed to apply for Turkey Government Scholarships.
If the applicants already possess a C1 level of proficiency in the Turkish language, they should submit proof of it along with the application even if the program that they are applying to uses English as their medium of instruction.
This way, they would not need to attend a year-long Turkish language course that they are required to attend during the first year of their scholarship program. This is mandatory for all successful candidates if they do not already have a C1 level of proficiency in the Turkish language.
