Zhengzhou University has announced the opening of applications for its 2025 scholarship program, offering fully funded opportunities for international students across undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. This initiative is designed to attract top-performing students from around the world to pursue their studies in China without financial constraints.
This ZZU CSC scholarship 2025-2026 covers full tuition fees for the duration of the chosen program, alongside providing free on-campus accommodation or a housing allowance for those living off-campus. Recipients will also benefit from monthly stipends, with undergraduates receiving CNY 3,000, master’s students CNY 3,500, and doctoral candidates CNY 4,000. Comprehensive health insurance is included, ensuring all awardees have access to medical care during their studies.
Eligibility for the program is determined by academic qualifications and age limits. Applicants for undergraduate programs must hold a high school diploma and be under 25 years old. Master’s candidates need a bachelor’s degree and must be under 35, while PhD applicants require a master’s degree and must be under 40. Language proficiency is also essential, with Chinese-taught programs requiring HSK Level 4 or higher, and English-taught programs accepting IELTS scores of 6.0, TOEFL 80, or equivalent evidence of English fluency.
Applications require a completed form, copies of academic transcripts and diplomas, a personal statement or research proposal for postgraduate programs, and two recommendation letters for master’s and PhD candidates. Proof of language proficiency, a valid passport copy, and a completed Physical Examination Form are also mandatory. Additional documents, such as published papers or awards, can strengthen the application.
Prospective students must submit their applications through the Zhengzhou University International Student Portal (https://international.zzu.edu.cn/en/article/detail?cid=53&pid=53&detail=65) and pay a non-refundable fee of CNY 600. In some cases, hard copies of application documents may need to be mailed. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an online interview as part of the selection process.
The application window opens on January 1, 2025, and closes on March 31, 2025. Early submission is highly recommended to avoid delays in processing. Interested candidates are encouraged to visit the university’s official website for detailed information and access to the application portal. With its robust financial support and academic resources, the Zhengzhou University Scholarship is a prime opportunity for international students to advance their education in China.
