The application process begins with registering on the CSC Scholarship Application Portal (https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/auth) and completing the necessary forms using HZAU’s agency number, 10504. Applicants must also complete the Huazhong Agricultural University’s online application through their admissions portal (https://ic.hzau.edu.cn/info/1072/2300.htm). Required documents include a completed CSC application form, HZAU online application form, a copy of the passport, notarized academic transcripts, degree certificates, a study plan or research proposal of 800-1000 words, two recommendation letters, a physical examination record for foreigners, and proof of language proficiency.
Applications are accepted from January 1, 2025, to March 31, 2025. Huazhong Agricultural University will evaluate the applications and recommend candidates to the China Scholarship Council, which will make the final selections. Successful applicants will be notified by late June 2025.
