The Chinese Government Scholarship for 2025 at Hebei University of Technology (HEBUT) has officially opened applications, offering aspiring master’s and doctoral students an opportunity to study in China. This initiative aims to foster international academic exchange and strengthen ties between China and other nations.
The scholarship includes substantial financial support to selected candidates. Recipients will benefit from a full tuition fee waiver, monthly stipends of 3,000 CNY for master’s students and 3,500 CNY for doctoral students, a subsidy for off-campus accommodation, and comprehensive medical insurance valued at 800 CNY per year. The financial package is designed to alleviate monetary constraints and allow students to focus entirely on their academic pursuits.
The program offers master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Information and Communication Engineering, as well as doctoral degrees in Electrical Engineering and Electronic Science and Technology. All courses are conducted in English, making them accessible to a global audience without requiring prior knowledge of Chinese.
Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria. They must be citizens of countries other than China, be in good health, and comply with the academic requirements for their desired degree level. Master’s program applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 30, while doctoral candidates must possess a master’s degree and be under 40 years old. Additionally, proof of English proficiency is mandatory, with a minimum TOEFL score of 85 or an IELTS score of 6.0.
The application process consists of two stages. First, candidates must complete their application through the CGS Information Management System for International Students at http://www.campuschina.org.
