The Hansen Leadership Institute (HLI) is offering a fully-funded scholarship for its 2025 summer program in San Diego, California. This program is open to international and U.S. students with a passion for leadership and peacebuilding. The program runs from July 1st to July 22nd and provides participants with intensive training, workshops, and cultural exchange opportunities.
International students will receive round-trip airfare, accommodation, meals, and coverage of all program-related expenses, including visa application fees. To be eligible, international students must be upper-division undergraduate or graduate students, aged 20-26 by July 1, 2025, with demonstrated leadership experience and English proficiency. Preference is given to applicants who have never visited the U.S.
U.S. students must also meet the same age and leadership experience requirements.
To apply, students need to complete the online application, submit strong essays highlighting their leadership skills and aspirations, provide recommendation letters, and upload supporting documents like academic transcripts.
