The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has opened applications for the highly anticipated LIONS Scholarship 2025. This prestigious opportunity aims to support and empower the next generation of creative talent, with a strong focus on diversity in location, gender, race, class, and perspective. A total of ten scholarships are available, offering underrepresented individuals from across the globe an all-expenses-paid trip to Cannes Lions 2025.
The scholarship is divided equally between 2 renowned academies: the Creative Academy and the Brand Marketing Academy. The Creative Academy is tailored for professionals such as art directors, copywriters, designers, technologists, and freelancers, while the Brand Marketing Academy caters to brand marketers, campaign directors, and digital marketing experts. Selected scholars will gain access to exclusive classroom sessions, industry-leading speakers, and one-on-one mentorship from some of the biggest names in the creative world.
Winners of the LIONS Scholarship will receive a fully funded trip, including travel, accommodation, and a personal allowance. They will also be awarded a Young Lions Festival pass, granting them the chance to participate in hands-on learning experiences and connect with global leaders in their respective fields.
Eligibility requirements for this coveted scholarship include being born on or after June 20, 1994, and possessing at least two years of relevant professional experience. Applications are judged through a rigorous two-stage process involving a jury of 40 global experts from diverse creative disciplines. This esteemed panel will evaluate candidates based on their potential and creative excellence, ultimately selecting ten outstanding individuals.
