About the Voyager Scholarship

This two-year leadership development program is open to college students entering their junior year in Fall 2025 and provides financial aid, global travel experiences, and access to a network of distinguished leaders.

💰 Up to $50,000 in Financial Aid
- Selected students will receive $25,000 per year for their junior and senior years of college, reducing the financial burden of tuition and allowing them to focus on careers in public service.
✈️ Summer Voyage ($10,000 Stipend & Airbnb Housing)
- Between their junior and senior year, scholars will receive a $10,000 stipend and free Airbnb housing to pursue a self-designed summer work-travel experience, gaining exposure to different communities and hands-on experience in their chosen fields.
🌍 10-Year Travel Stipend
- After graduation, recipients will receive a $2,000 Airbnb travel credit every year for 10 years, encouraging them to continue exploring new communities and expanding their impact globally.
🏛️ Fall Summit & Leadership Network
- Scholars may have the opportunity to attend an in-person summit where they will engage with fellow Voyagers, develop leadership skills, and learn from renowned public service leaders.
- Throughout the program, students will also participate in an ongoing speaker series and gain access to The Obama Foundation’s global network after graduation.
