Quad Fellowship 2025 for Students from India, Australia, Japan, USA

The Quad Fellowship, a landmark initiative by the governments of Australia, India, Japan, and the United States, is now accepting applications for its 2025 cohort. This first-of-its-kind fellowship seeks to cultivate a new generation of global STEM leaders, fostering collaboration among emerging scientists and technologists from the Quad countries and Southeast Asia.

Launched in 2021, the Quad Fellowship aims to build a network of innovators dedicated to addressing global challenges through scientific and technological advancements. The program, administered by the Institute of International Education (IIE), is supported by a coalition of government, academic, and corporate leaders. Its unique structure combines financial assistance, cross-cultural exchange, and professional networking opportunities.

Each fellow will receive a one-time stipend of $20,000 to support academic expenses during their graduate studies in the United States. Beyond financial aid, fellows gain access to exclusive programming that includes workshops, seminars, and interactions with global leaders in STEM, government, and industry. Upon completing the fellowship, participants will join the Senior Fellows Alumni Network, a platform designed to drive ongoing collaboration and research with real-world impact.

Eligibility for the program is open to citizens and permanent residents of the Quad countries—Australia, India, Japan, and the United States—as well as ten Southeast Asian nations, including Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam. Applicants must hold or be on track to complete a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field by August 2025. They must also either apply to or be enrolled in a U.S.-based graduate program in STEM for the 2025–2026 academic year. Degrees in clinical healthcare, such as medicine or nursing, and business-related programs, including MBAs, are ineligible.

The selection process for the fellowship is highly competitive, involving an online application, expert review of STEM proficiency, and a final interview round. Candidates are assessed on their academic excellence, passion for scientific innovation, and commitment to social impact.

Supported by prominent sponsors such as Google, Pratt & Whitney, and Blackstone, the Quad Fellowship exemplifies a shared commitment to advancing innovation and fostering international cooperation. The program provides a unique opportunity for STEM professionals to join a global network of changemakers addressing the world’s most pressing issues.

The last date to apply for the Quad Fellowship 2025 is March 3, 2025. Interested applicants are encouraged to visit the official Quad Fellowship website for more information and application details here https://www.quadfellowship.org/.
